Icon-X is Rigaku’s fourth generation of portable RAMAN analyzers, following Progeny ResQ, ResQ CQL, and CQL Max-ID.
Icon-X quickly identifies chemical threats: explosives, narcotics, and other potentially toxic unknown substances. It can analyze samples in any form directly in the field: powders, liquids, gels, mixtures, etc.
This Raman spectrometer is designed for military personnel, first responders, bomb disposal teams, and border protection teams.

This new feature is essential for professionals exposed to explosive threats, such as improvised explosive devices, homemade explosives, and chemical threats. Remote analysis also reduces the need for sampling while allowing responders to assess hazards without disturbing the scene.
